Passes, rentals, and lessons are all separate purchases.

Passes at a discounted rate cannot be purchased online, and are only available for purchase on-site at Guest Services.

Complimentary passes (toddler ages 0-4 & senior ages 70+) are issued on-site at Guest Services.

TODDLER (Age 0-4)
*Parent/guardian/chaperone accompanying passes can be purchased online and
4 and under passes will be issued on-site with proof of accompanying adult pass purchase.
YOUTH (Age 5-12)
ADULT (Age 13+)

4 and 6-hour passes are valid during allotted consecutive hours of your choosing between open and close of business on the date purchased for; your session begins once you arrive onto the slopes and begin skiing or riding.

Night passes are valid from 5:00 PM - 10:00 PM.

Both a slope pass and ski equipment are required to participate in skiing lessons and are separate purchases.
Be advised, by purchasing a lesson you are reserving a product with limited, finite availability and a fixed starting time. Participants will not be added to a lesson once it has begun.
In the event you and/or your child are late arrival(s), we will try to accommodate with a later lesson if there is availability, however, do not provide refunds for missed lessons.
We recommend arriving to Cataloochee Ski Area at least one to one and a half hours prior to your lesson start time to allow adequate time to park, print your pass, and complete rental process(es).
ALL lessons begin on the snow, in the base area of the Rabbit Hill slope, near the exit of the ski rental shop and are marked with tall, multicolored and labeled flag poles.

PRIVATE SKI LESSONS:
Ages 3+
Tailored to individual abilities and needs
1.5 hours in length
Additional family members with similar ability levels can be added for an additional $65 per person
*The additional participant option will populate once you have added a private lesson to your cart.

GROUP SKI LESSONS:
Ages 7-12
Youth Beginner Group Ski Lesson
Ideal for participants who have never skied and have yet to ride a chairlift. Lesson duration is 1.5 hours.

Ages 13+
Adult Beginner Group Ski Lesson
Ideal for participants who have never skied and have yet to ride a chairlift. Lesson duration is 1.5 hours.
Adult Advanced Group Ski Lesson
Ideal for participants who have conquered skiing beginner terrain, have experience riding the chairlift, and are looking to hone skills and techniques. Lesson duration is one hour.

Our After School Program has three main parts. You must register for these programs online or with your school.  No walk ins will be accepted. Once a discipline is picked, it should be followed until the end of the program cycle.  Once a program night is picked, there are no substitutions.

-Early Season is a twice a week, two week progressive program before Christmas.  Registration is from Nov. 16th-Dec. 7th. Session times are from 5:30pm-7:00pm on Dec. 10, 12, 17 & 19.

-Our traditional After School Program is  a seven-week progressive lesson. Registration is from November 30th - December 22nd, 2024.  All after school sessions are from 5:30PM to 7:00pm, except Sundays, which run 3:00-5:00pm and 5:30-7:30pm.

-Our School/Community based Programs vary in length, date and time and are coordinated with the school/community directly.
