2025-2026 Season Pass Definitions

 

Thank you for purchasing a 2025-2026 season pass for Cataloochee Ski Area.

Season Pass Definitions:

Unlimited Pass: Valid all sessions anytime we are open.

Limited Pass: Valid Sunday through Fridays all sessions, valid Saturdays after 5:00pm and any Saturdays we are not open for night sessions.

Weekday-Night Pass: Valid any non-holiday Monday through Friday day sessions, valid all nights after 5:00pm, valid Saturday or Sunday day sessions when we are not open for night sessions.

Holiday Dates:

Holidays: Holiday hours are 8:30am-10:00pm except for Thanksgiving Day (8:30am-4:30pm), Christmas Eve (8:30am-4:30pm), and Christmas Day (1:00pm-10:00pm)

Thanksgiving holidays November 26th through 30th

Christmas and New Years holidays December 15th through January 2nd 

MLK holidays January 16th through 19th 

President’s holidays February 13th through 16th

 

Night Session Operating Dates:

November 26th, 28th, and 29th

December 13th through March 7th (except for December 24th, 2025)

 

 

By signing this, I, the undersigned, have read and understood the season pass definitions, holiday hours/dates, and night session dates. I agree that my annual pass must be worn at all times and must be shown to the operators of the lifts every time I or my child rides a lift. Failure to display a valid ticket or annual pass will result in dismissal from the lift line. I agree to only use my pass during valid dates and hours as described above. Passes are non-transferable. Use of the pass by anyone other than the passholder is not permitted and will result in the total revocation of the pass without refund. I will read and follow all posted signage. I am signing freely and of my own accord, and I agree to be legally bound to the agreement printed here, and on the website www.cataloochee.com, and on signs posted at the resort. In the event that I am signing on behalf of a minor child for whom I am responsible, that I have full authority to do so, realizing its binding effect on them as well as myself.

The purchaser / user of this ticket assumes the risk of any injury to person or property resulting from any of the inherent dangers and risks of skiing and other winter sports activities and may not recover from any ski area operator for any injury resulting from any of the inherent dangers and risks of skiing and other winter sports activities. Inherent risks of those activities include, but are not limited to: changing weather conditions; existing and changing snow conditions; bare spots; rocks; stumps; trees; collisions with natural objects, man-made objects, or other skiers; variations in terrain; the failure of skiers to ski within their own abilities; jumps; and Freestyle Terrain.  Snowmaking and snowgrooming may be in progress. A “skier” includes any person using any of the facilities of a ski area, including for snowboarding, tubing, sledding, snowbiking, adaptive equipment or otherwise.

I understand that using a ski area for any purpose is HAZARDOUS AND INVOLVES THE RISK OF PHYSICAL INJURY OR DEATH, and I agree to ASSUME ALL RISKS, known or unknown, inherent or otherwise.  I understand that I must remain alert at all times, control my own speed, avoid other skiers and obstacles, comply with signage and instructions of ski area personnel, and know how to safely load, ride and unload the lifts. Ski area personnel may revoke this ticket without refund at any time if I engage in conduct that is dangerous, improper, or constitutes fraud or a nuisance.

In consideration for allowing my use, I agree NOT TO SUE and to RELEASE the ski resort, its affiliates and employees (each a “Released Party”) from ALL LIABILITY for claims for injury, death or property damage arising from my use of this ticket, including those based on any Released Party’s NEGLIGENCE. I AGREE TO DEFEND AND INDEMNIFY each Released Party for all claims arising from my use of this ticket, including for attorney’s fees. If the user is a minor, I agree, as the purchaser and / or user of this ticket, parent / legal guardian, to the terms of this release on behalf of the minor user. I further agree that the exclusive jurisdiction for any claims I may bring against Cataloochee Ski Area, its agents or employees related to this activity is in the Superior Court of Haywood County, North Carolina.
